Day 13 - 8 September 2012

So, finally rolled out of bed around 0600 and made it to go talk to Meagan and the kids. Had a MOAC (Mother of All Coffees), which is what Green Beans calls their 24-ounce cup. Still dragging quite a bit, so headed back to the room for a few more hours of sleep before work. No gym this morning, so I'll probably go after work.

Got up about 1130 this morning. Went into work and no one around, so I figured they'd already left for lunch. Made it to the DFAC and they weren't there, so I ate lunch with the squadron leadership.

Lunch didn't look too appealing, so I had my second cheeseburger of the trip. A little dry, but it was food!

After lunch, I jumped into the online 5/6 meeting. It was pretty cool. I'm going to be creating flyers for a nonalcoholic margarita party we're having, so I found something I can get involved with.

Jumped out of the meeting early to get started on inventory and ops checking a few of our systems...finished one before dinner. I didn't think it would take THAT long for one system, but we have to ensure they are ready to spring into action if we need them. No sense in taking a system out that's missing a critical component!

Went to dinner with a couple of the guys. Surprisingly, the lasagna was good! I was expecting something less, but it was the best looking option for dinner. Was actually comparable to the Stouffer's kind we get!

I'm thinking no gym tonight. My arms hurt like the dickens (lifting yesterday) and I'm dragging tail pretty bad right now. So, I'll have to go in the morning!

I feel bad that Meagan has had a bad day and I'm dragging so much, I can barely keep my eyes open. Alarm set for 0430, so we'll talk then...night all!
